Engineering Surveys are surveys carried out for the purpose of supporting the implementation of engineering projects. a. Profile Leveling

Profile leveling provides information on the slope of land along the desired route. It is important in the design of engineering projects including drainage systems and roads among others.

Topographical Mapping provides information on the slope of the land and the position of features on it. Topographical Surveys are important in site selection and planning for projects.

APL offers various options for Topographical Survey, these include; Terrestrial methods using the Total station and GPS equipment and airborne methods including Lidar Surveys.

Setting out is the process of describing the position of points on the ground as designed for engineering projects. Correct Setting Out is important to ensure that the project is completed as designed.
